Baltica: Polish Pottery and Hot Chocolate!

Last Sunday, I went to Lewes and met up with a friend. On her recommendation, we went to Baltica, a cafe-come-pottery shop.

Baltica sells a large selection of handmade, hand decorated Polish pottery: plates, bowls, jugs, mugs and more, all hand-decorated with gorgeous patterns.

Food-wise, their menu includes a lot of Polish dishes, and their drinks menu includes hot chocolate with rum, and latte with amaretto! They also have a counter filled with delicious-looking cakes.

As it was just gone 3pm when we went in, we stuck to hot drinks. I didn't have rum in my hot chocolate, but was sorely tempted!

What's really great is that everything in the cafe is served using the same pottery as is available in the shop. I really loved the mug my hot chocolate was served in, with it's star pattern and rounded shape.

Baltica is a really welcoming shop/cafe, and I definitely plan to pay another visit, next time to try out the food :)

You'll find Baltica at 145 High Street, Lewes, East Sussex, opposite the historic (and steep!) Keere Street. You can find more information on their website, and also find them on Facebook.

This is not a sponsored post. But I heartily recommend their gorgeous hot chocolate :)
